“Stretch, Play, Grow, Relax —Toddler Yoga for Little Yogi Minds and Bodies!”
Our sensory and yoga-inspired classes are a great way to introduce young children (2 years to 4 years) to stretches, movements, stories, songs, relaxation and sensory play and its many benefits.
Each week, our toddler yoga classes are inspired by a different storybook, bringing the tale to life through playful yoga poses. As we read the story, the children mimic characters and scenes with movements, making the experience both imaginative and interactive for both children and their parents. This approach not only enhances their physical skills but also fosters a love for reading and creativity.
Our toddler/preschool yoga class offers a wide range of benefits, including:
- Physical development: It improves flexibility, balance, and coordination, helping children develop essential motor skills.
- Emotional regulation: Yoga encourages mindfulness, helping young children manage emotions and build resilience.
- Cognitive growth: Through imaginative play and storytelling, yoga enhances focus, listening skills, and creative thinking.
- Social interaction: Group classes promote cooperation, communication, and socialization in a supportive environment.
- Stress relief: Yoga introduces calming techniques like breathing exercises, reducing anxiety and enhancing relaxation.
- Boosted self-esteem: Mastering poses and movements fosters confidence and a sense of accomplishment.
Together, these benefits support holistic growth in both mind and body.
